His story in brief
Balou was 3 years old when he arrived in his new family, ready to love him and give him all the education (which he really needs) as well as the care so that he could enjoy a good life.
So, unfortunately for him, any dog or cat owner considered "responsible" here will have him neutered, especially a male given that it's easier and cheaper.
On the other hand, price is very much a topical issue these days (TV shows like La Facture and Enquête). The exorbitant prices and very high markups on medications have been confirmed. Therefore, they are less accessible to many people.
But we also learned that we should favor clinics without the banners of these famous multinationals. This way, your veterinarian will be someone you trust completely, someone who is honest and who does this job because they have dedicated their lives to animals.
Neutering = no offspring, no or less running away or running away, less overpopulation, less possibility of puppy mills, fewer abandoned or sheltered dogs.
Back to Balou. Here's the picture from Day 1 with what's called a painful and very inflamed Blue Bag.
Below, you can see, still in photos, the evolutionary sequence.
In just 4 days, Balou was no longer in pain, the inflammation had greatly diminished, and his hair was already starting to grow again.

A huge THANK YOU to the owner who kindly shared her experience with me. It's thanks to you that I have the necessary "proof" that clay often helps a lot, even if we don't always know how.
If you also have experiences and great successes to share with me, it is always with great pleasure that I will let you know.
